Day 1 - Arrive Entebbe / Kampala
On arrival you will be met by a representative who will drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. [D]
Day 2 - Kampala / Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set off after breakfast for the Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the Equator and driving past vast tea and banana plantations en-route. You will cross the unique western Rift Valley escarpments. Arrive and settle in at the Mweya Safari Lodge. In the afternoon you will take a 2 hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will have the opportunity of viewing buffalos, elephants and scores of hippos with a variety of bird life. Evening at leisure with dinner and overnight stay. [BLD]
Day 3 - Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will have an early morning game drive in search of wild life and then return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon visit Katwe Salt Works and the volcanic area and marvel at crater lakes. Dinner and overnight. [BLD]
Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park/Bwindi
You will then depart for Bwindi National Park, arriving in the early evening with dinner and overnight at our lodge which is on the edge of the impenetrable forest. [BLD]
Day 5 - Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi
After breakfast you will be escorted to the park offices to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guide and then its off! The time taken and the terrain varies according to the movements of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting them face to face takes away the pain of the sometimes long and arduous trek. Return to the homestead for the overnight stay. [BLD]
Day 6 - Bwindi / Kabale
You will leave this jungle life after breakfast and proceed to Kabale travelling through undulating hills that make a beautiful scenery part of this country once known as the Switzerland of Africa. Lunch stop on at White Horse Inn and continue with your trip to dramatically scenic lake Bunyonyi where you will check in at your camp - dinner and overnight. [BLD]
Day 7 - Bwindi / Kampala / Entebbe
You will depart for Kampala after breakfast with a lunch stop on the way. It is a long journey but it is through very interesting geographical features like the fascinating scenery of the Kigezi highlands. You will then proceed to Entebbe for dinner and overnight at your hotel. [BLD]
Day 8 - Depart Entebbe
You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. [B]
