Day 1: Nairobi - Sirimon Gate (LD)
Morning departure and drive north of Nairobi through the central highlands to Mt. Kenya region. A picnic lunch will be served enroute to the park gate from where you will trek. In the afternoon drive to the Sirimon Gate and then to roadhead at 11000ft. An easy walk in the afternoon to help acclimatization.

Overnight at Judmaier Camp (11,000 ft.) in high altitude mountain tents.

Day 2: Sirimon - Liki Valley (BLD)
Ascend the Sirimon Track to Liki North Valley and camp. Overnight in this beautiful little valley below the subsidiary peaks of Tereri and Sendeyo, two ancient parasitic vents of the main peaks (13,000 ft.)

Day 3: Liki Valley - Mackinder Valley (BLD)
Climb out of the North Valley and into the MacKinder Valley, one of the broadest valleys on the mountain, with many giant groundsels. Overnight Shiptons Camp at the head of the MacKinder Valley, just below the main peaks of Batian and Nelion, (14,000 ft.)

Day 4: Mackinder Valley - Teleki Valley (BLD)
Alpine ascent of the third highest peak, Point Lenana (16,355 ft.) On route up the north face little used by tourists. Four hours of stiff walking to the summit. Then descend to Teleki Valley on the opposite side of the main peaks, to MacKinders Camp for a good night's rest (13,900 ft.)

Day 5: Mackinders - Nairobi (BL)
Descend to the Met. Station (road-head) on the Naro Moru Track and then proceed down the mountain to the park gate from where you will be transferred to Nairobi after a lunch stop. Free afternoon and evening. Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
